Today I’m going to begin my comprehensive review on a product called “Singorama”.
So what is Singorama?
Singorama is an information product consisting of two step-by-step lesson books with supporting audio files, and several software programs, designed to teach you how to sing to a near professional level. It caters for all levels of singer, from beginner to advanced.
Singorama was created by Emily Mander. Emily was born into a family of singers, and began singing at the young age of three. She is now a professional singer, who was frustrated at the lack of singing courses available to the average person, so she made one herself. It certainly seems she has the credentials to make a product like this.
The problem with many “learn to sing” books and courses is they only cover basic warm up techniques, or make you a better singer within the range you already have. They may even teach you to sing a few songs, too. But they rarely show you how to improve as a singer, and tackle harder challenges such as increasing your range, and how to sing with other people.
This is where I think Singorama really shrines. The supporting audio files contain many exercises, harmony tracks, and songs, which allow you to sing a long and record your voice using the supplied recording software. This means you can teach yourself how to sing in harmony with others – a crucial skill for the aspiring singer.
Another aspect of the Singorama course is the exercises to improve your vocal control.

You also learn how to break down a song into its vocal components, so you can analyze any song and work out how to adapt it for yourself. This is useful information for many singers.
So what exactly do you get with Singorama?
Apart from the 2 books that come with Singorama, you also get several software programs. In my opinion, this is the best part of Singorama. You are sure to return to these programs again and again as you learn to sing.
The first program is called “Mini Recording Studio”. This allows you to record and playback your own voice using your computer. It also has a few neat extras included (like the virtual piano, for example) which help you stay on key.
The other program is called “Perfect Your Pitch Pro”. This program attempts to teach you perfect pitch. Although it can’t promise you the “holy grail” of singers, it certainly can help you improve your ear dramatically. Its also quite fun to play, and doesn’t take much practice to start seeing noticeable results.
Another interesting section of the Singorama course is the information about singing with a band. I’m sure this is an aspiration for many singers, so it’s nice to know that this is covered in Singorama.
This goes hand in hand with the 8 step system for breaking down and learning any song.

Are there any extras in the Singorama course?
Currently, Singorama comes with several bonus items which are equally useful to you if you’re training to become a better singer.
The first bonus is called “Jayde Musica Pro”. This software program teaches you how to read music. It’s presented as a game, and can be fun to play.
The second bonus is called “The Ultimate Beginners Guide to Reading Music”. This is basic stuff, but useful to people who are new to music.
The third bonus is called “Advanced learning techniques for singers”. I found this bonus particularly interesting. It presents so fascinating ideas that are quite effective on cutting down practice time while still seeing improvement.
The final bonus is simply a virtual metronome software program. This can be useful if you don’t have a metronome – although personally, I prefer to use a real metronome.
In conclusion, Singorama is certainly one of the better learn-to-sing courses available. Other than private singing lessons, I’d struggle to recommend anything better than Singorama. Especially if you want to teach yourself to sing better.
The course is fairly comprehensive, and teaches in a fun way. The software games can be quite addictive, too, which helps you learn even faster.
The people behind Singorama offer an 8 week money-back gurantee for Singorama. I checked it out, and basically you can claim a refund any time within 8 weeks of purchase. You don’t even need a reason. And they even let you keep the bonus items, too.
Singorama is currently being sold online only, for $49.95
